When I started my writing journey I decided I was going to write books that would help people one way or another. I also wanted my books to entertain and inform. This has become my writing style. I write about serious issues but you will be laughing and entertained while getting some help with what you need. Below are the lovely stories behind each of my books:

This book is a no-holds-barred introspection of the way we conduct business as black people. An outcome of extensive research and analysis of interviews within black communities worldwide. It is straight from the ‘lips’ of black customers. To achieve a balanced view, black businesses provide their feedback about dealing with black customers. The frustrations and pain points from both sides of the spectrum are highlighted and practical solutions presented.

5 years ago, I wrote over 30 articles on various life’s challenges on my blog. The subject matter included Marriage, Divorce, Unemployment, Single Motherhood, Why Men and Women Cheat, Friendships, Dealing with grief (my readers’ favourite). The articles were well received and many advised that I publish them as a book so they could be sold abroad. I did that and it became my first book. My late father was a lecturer of English literature and to my great joy, he loved the book so much he kept it by his bedside and read it every night and asked for many copies for his friends. Many have found it helpful. (Check out the reviews) The book continues to be a very relevant self-help book.

A few years ago l organised a workshop for women. The aim was to inspire and motivate women who are unemployed, in low paid jobs or self-employed. The workshop sold old out and the feedback showed the women benefited from it. I decided the information we shared at the workshop was too good to keep from women out there who needed to hear it. So I carried out further research and wrote this amazing book. I have been invited by charities to hold workshops for women in Kenya, Malawi and Nigeria, which I plan to do after the pandemic is over. Although, this book is written from a woman’s perspective, the book is for anyone aged 16 and over who is trying to find what they are passionate about. Anyone trying to find what they are good at, their skills and talent, which could be used to earn an income. I am proof that this approach works because l have been in low paid jobs, self-employed and unemployed. I found out what l was passionate about in my 30s and today l am living a fulfilled life doing what l love (writing) and earning extra income from it.

My Lovely Daughter was bullied in primary school when she moved to a new school. It broke my heart to see her cry about it frequently. I struggled to find a solution and after extensive research I eventually did. I decided to write a fictional story that could help children and parents to deal with school bullying. kids love his book because I made it entertaining and informative for them. The book has a fan club called the ZEANNgers. I wrote book 2 of The ZEANN Gang due to popular demand by my young readers. They are already asking for book 3. I have been invited to a few schools during anti-bullying week to talk to children about dealing with bullies and also how to prevent it. Teachers, parents and children of all ages will benefit from this book because bullying is a universal problem that never seems to go away.

Some of the fans of my children’s book series. (The ZEANNgers)

This book is purely for entertainment. since they say ‘laughter is the best medicine’ then this book will help people going through tough times. It has helped many based on the feedback I recieved. I blogged weekly about the funny things I encountered or observed during my commute to work on London trains. I shared them on Facebook with my over 2000 Facebook friends. They loved my commute blogs and asked for more. Many described them as funny, witty and hugely entertaining. I also shared them on my writers group and my fellow writers advised that I publish them. The book has become my bestseller. It is always sold out at all my book events. (Check out the reviews).

My day job is a project delivery analyst and l have vast experience of working in various industries to implement business critical programmes and portfolios for strategic transformation.

Aside from writing, I have quite a few interests that are important to me. Diversity is one of them and l promote it in my books. Another one is causes for women empowerment and anti- bullying.

World politics fascinates me and l often engage in interesting discussions about it. Jazz music, dancing, movies, apple-pies and stand-up comedy are some of my favourite things.

I offer book writing services by coaching people to write and publish their books. I am also a ghostwriter with a few ghostwritten books under my belt. Contact me if this interests you.
